The film is set in a small suburban town in the early 2000s, where Maksat, a street-level figure of authority, tries to maintain a balance between his criminal life and his responsibility toward his family. His younger sister, Nuray, becomes the victim of a violent abduction carried out by a group of young men from an influential family, but Maksat manages to bring her home. However, the humiliation and trauma leave lasting consequences: some time later, the perpetrators carry out a brutal attack on Maksat's home, shattering his family's life. The system proves powerless, connections and money protect the criminals from justice, leaving Maksat alone with his guilt and rage. When Nuray is unable to endure the pressure and takes her own life, Maksat loses his last remaining anchor. Having lost faith in the law, he begins to take revenge on those responsible, gradually turning into the very kind of person he once stood against. On his path of vengeance, Maksat is confronted not only by his enemies but also by the limits of his own humanity, destroying his relationships and losing himself in the process. His final confrontation with the main perpetrator leads to a moral dilemma, where the choice between revenge and accountability becomes unavoidable. The film explores themes of violence, impunity, and personal responsibility, asking where the line lies between justice and destruction, and whether one can preserve their humanity after choosing the path of revenge.
