The Solitary Spectator

A man has made a short film but has never shown it to anyone. One day, he finds a flyer on the street for the Wuliangdian Film Festival, which accepts submissions of any kind of film. The festival is set to take place in Wuliangdian Village. He goes home and searches for this place online. There is almost no information about the village. Some articles claim it is in Beijing, but navigation apps place it in Baoding. Determined to attend, he sets off on his bicycle for the 97-kilometer journey. When the road is closed for construction, he forces his way through. When his bike is stolen, he continues on foot. All the while, a police officer has been following him. The officer claims he is only looking for his lighter. And there is another man-wearing a gas mask-who is also watching him.
