Zatmenie

1960. An outbreak of smallpox-a deadly, incurable disease considered eradicated in the USSR-occurs in Moscow. The KGB appoints Colonel Shilov to combat the potential epidemic. He immediately takes on the case, having a long-standing grudge against smallpox. The task: find all those infected and stop the virus. But it's not that simple. The contagion has penetrated the shadowy underbelly of the capital: black marketeering, underground betting, prostitution, and drugs. He is forced to search for answers in the depths of the criminal underworld, bringing its inhabitants and their secrets to light.
