Messy divorcee, Jackie, is a high-functioning addict who barely knows what day it is but still manages to care for his patients as an ER doctor. His daughter, Eva, experiences the fallout of his overstretched life through constant neglect, miscommunication, and outright lies. In a story about trauma bonding, bad parenting, and transcendence, Eva finds her own voice amidst the chaos that her well-meaning but highly dysfunctional father endlessly creates.
