For years, Tingbjerg has been classified a 'tough ghetto', notorious for gang conflicts and shootings. Now, the Copenhagen district is to be transformed. Young, idealistic well-educated middle class families are handpicked to buy newly built houses in the middle of Tingbjerg for a low price - with a clause that binds them to the area for at least four years, to participate in developing the area. Director Louise Detlefsen followed the experiment through four years of ups and downs.
