The Rebirth of Chucky

34 years after the bloodbath at Kent Military Academy, Andrew Barclay has finally stopped running. Seeking a life of quiet isolation, he has moved his family to the misty, dense wilderness of Burnside Ridge Tennessee. Living in a rugged mountain cabin with his father Michael, his protective sister Lucy, and his 17 year old daughter Madison, Andrew struggles to bury the ghosts of his childhood. Meanwhile Playtime Is Over. The film opens with a visceral flashback to 1991. In the scorched remains of the toy factory, the mangled Chucky uses his dying strength to perform a soul transfer into a pristine Good Guy body found in a shipping crate. However, the transfer is imperfect; the new doll's face begins to sag and melt, mirroring the horrific scars of its previous host. Present Day: Andrew Barclay is a survivalist father in Burnside Ridge. He is hyper vigilant, much to the concern of his father, Grandpa Michael and his Sister Lucy. For Madison's 17th birthday, Andy gives her a Good Guy doll named Charlie. The peace is shattered when Chucky arrives in town, first murdering Randy Stone, the antique dealer, and then stalking Madison's school to eliminate Lucas and Ben, the local bullies who dared to touch his prey.
