Our pilot episode kicks off with Robbie, the dynamic CEO of the Big Three Technology, recording a mysterious confession. As she composes an email to send this intriguing video, Robbie notices something peculiar-duplicate emails that, upon closer inspection, aren't quite what they seem. Enter Jack's, a spirited character on the phone with her literary agent. She's offered an enticing deal: a reality TV show, if she can produce it. But here's the twist-Jack's is anti-reality TV. In a surprising revelation, we learn that Jack's is actually Robbie's employee, and it's her first day of orientation. She's tasked with leading a new team, but-Jack's isn't exactly qualified for the job. She turns to her 12-year-old daughter, River, for help with the overly simply task of opening sharing an icebreaker in her team meeting. While Jacks is getting her daughter's guidance, she vents about her new coworkers; swearing and criticizing the entire team. Once back in class, Robbie swiftly pulls Jack's into a private meeting, intending to fire her based on what she overheard. But hold on-there's an even bigger surprise in store. Robbie discovers that Jack's isn't who she seems. She's been operating under a fake identity, using an ID that belongs to a man named Robbie Mills. Robbie, ready to send a termination email to Jacks, encounters a twist of fate. Those seemingly duplicate emails from earlier? When she sends the email, Jack's never receives it. Instead, Jack's finds something else in her inbox-the very video Robbie recorded at the day's start. Seizing this unexpected leverage, Jacks shares her screen, revealing her trump card to Robbie. The two women, now bound by circumstances, hatch a plan to rescue the company from financial ruin by actually learning their jobs and training the team. Remember that offer for the reality TV show?
