Moreen, a young woman recovering from heroin addiction, has just become clean. For one final time, she returns to the apartment of her boyfriend Felix, who died of an overdose. What begins as a practical visit to retrieve an old family heirloom turns into a psychological confrontation as Felix gradually re-enters her perception, forcing her to face her most fragile inner core. When only Joni, a friend who is still struggling with addiction himself, agrees to help her move the inherited dresser, Moreen finds herself battling not only Felix's ghostly presence within the apartment, but also her own dependency. In the process, she realizes that lasting sobriety is only possible if she learns to truly accept herself.
