Aleksey Shuvalov, nicknamed Magaban, was one of the most daring and charismatic gangsters of the 1990s, but too human for the criminal underworld. Out of work and penniless, Shuvalov found work as a simple bathhouse attendant. The guard post at this bathhouse is occupied by Igor Rubtsov, nicknamed Bryus, formerly one of the most famous, tough, and scandalous detectives, who terrorized the entire city but refused to accept the new rules of the system.
