The Elements

In a sprawling modern city, the subway isn't just public transit-it's a living machine built atop a buried energy core known only to a select few. That core is the origin of the Elemental Code, an ancient force that grants extraordinary powers to chosen individuals. When four seemingly ordinary teenagers-River Wells, Ash Miller, Flint Shepherd, and Skye Palmer-begin developing strange abilities, they are pulled into a hidden war beneath their feet. Two secret organizations seek to control the Elemental Code. The Vault, a protective society sworn to preserve balance and protect the core. And Echo, a rogue group that believes the elemental powers should be used to reshape the world-starting with the city above. As the teens journey through deeper subway levels, their powers intensify. But so do the side effects-whispers in the dark, hallucinations, and fractures in their trust. The subway itself seems to call to them, changing and shifting with every step. The deeper they go, the stronger the pull-and the more dangerous the truth becomes. With the Vault and Echo on opposite sides, and the core awakening after centuries of silence, the four must decide not just who to trust-but who they're becoming.
