Gilberto meets Stella at a 'speed-dating' session. The next day, police investigating Stella's disappearance contact him, and this reveals Gilberto's infidelity to his wife Tiziana, who immediately files for divorce. Having nowhere to stay, Gilberto goes to stay with his friend Andrea and his fiancee Carlotta. Then Gilberto discovers that his wife has been having an affair with Guido, their family's doctor. A frenetic 'couples game' starts, rolling out one surprise after another and keeping the viewer more and more involved in this sentimental war.
